Seeing Beauty in the World
About me
Celine Alexander-Brown
Hi, I am Celine Alexander-Brown and I am a passionate, creative photographer. I was awarded my Licentiateship of the Royal Photographic Society in 2014.
I received my first digital camera in 2000 and yet it was only after my husband died in 2008 that photography became a passion not just a hobby.
It was as if a light being switched on when I began to notice the beauty and minute detail in each flower, usually in my back garden.
I then started seeing beauty in the Sacred and as time progressed, I began to see beauty in many unexpected places.
I can only make/receive a photograph when the subject touches my heart.
During and since lockdown, I have been drawn to creative, expressive photography, experimenting with intentional camera movement and multiple exposures.
As well as being a photographer I am also a writer.
I am also the mother of three wonderful adult children and nana to three gorgeous grandchildren.
